I specialize in professional repliks of oil paintings (XVIII and XIX a). I make faithful copies of ancient masters' masterpieces, compatibly with their techniques and workshops. Years of practice, experience and professional knowledge as well as ability to applydifferent styles of painting enable me to succeed in achieving the required exactitude of my works of art.

The canvas I use as a background for my paintings is the same as used by impressionists in XIXth cebtury. It is made of a linen raw fibre accordingly to the XIX th century technology woven in the old weaving-mill. |

Oils and Mediums Oils and mediums alter the handling charcteristics of the colour and help to maintain the flexbility of the finished painting (fat over lean). oils are the traditional, slower drying choice whilst alkyd based mediums, such as Liquin, are favoured due to their speeding the drying time of the painting. |

Varnishes Vernishes are used to protect finished paintings. For fine art usage, picture varnishes should be removable so that the painting can be cleaned in the future. Our vernishes are labelled "gloss" or "matt" and very according to the differentresins used. |
